Terms of Use
Terms for enjoying the exhibition
Plain-language terms for using Exe.Vision. By using the website or the AR experience, you agree to them.
About these terms
Exe.Vision is an exhibition website and augmented-reality (AR) experience operated by the Exe.Vision team. These terms apply to everyone who uses it. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The exhibition is free to visit and needs no account.
Using AR safely
- Stay aware of your surroundings, other visitors and the artworks while looking at your screen.
- Do not use the AR experience while walking through crowds, on stairs, or anywhere you could trip or collide with something.
- Keep a respectful distance from artworks, and follow the venue's rules and staff instructions.
- Children should use AR with an adult nearby.
- If you are sensitive to motion or moving images, stop if you feel unwell. Every artwork can be explored without AR.
Acceptable use
When using Exe.Vision, please do not:
- try to access the admin area, accounts or systems you are not authorised to use;
- interfere with the site's operation or security, or overload it (for example with automated requests);
- upload or introduce harmful code, or misuse the site to break any law;
- copy, download in bulk, or republish exhibition content except as allowed below.
Artworks and content
The artworks, 3D models, images, narration and descriptions in the exhibition belong to their artists and other rights holders. The Exe.Vision name, logo and website design belong to the Exe.Vision team.
You may view and enjoy the exhibition for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, including taking screenshots for personal use. Any other use, such as commercial reuse, redistribution or modification, needs permission from the relevant rights holder.
Staff accounts
Dashboard accounts are given only to invited exhibition staff, with a role that decides what they can change. Staff must keep their sign-in details confidential, use the account only to manage the exhibition, and only upload content they have the right to publish — including permission from anyone identifiable in it. Actions are recorded in an activity log. Access can be changed or removed at any time.
Availability
We work to keep Exe.Vision available, accurate and accessible, but we cannot promise it will always work on every device, without interruption or errors. We may change, pause or remove artworks or features, or the site itself, at any time.
Disclaimers and liability
Exe.Vision is provided "as is", free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses arising from use of the site, including injury or damage caused by not paying attention to your surroundings while using AR, or charges for mobile data. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
How we handle information is described in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Your camera image never leaves your device.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Exe.Vision after a change means you accept the updated terms.
